Daddy is a boy like Santa

Ellie: "I am a girl like you and daddy is a boy like Santa."

(While driving home from grandma's house: Stopped at a red light, I go when it turns green.)
Ellie: "Wait mom, stop. Red light doesn't mean go."

Ellie: "Hop like you have ONE leg."

Ellie: "Sometimes hippos like to swim in the water like people and I like hippos."

Update

Ellie passed out on the couch.

The new babysitter.
Ellie holding two of my baby cousins at Thanksgiving.

 My little artist.
(It's a sideways girl, with buck teeth and ears under her arms . . . just in case you couldn't tell.)

Ellie and Santa.
The whole time we were in line, she kept saying she was going to ask for baby toms. Once we got there she chickened out and Santa suggested a baby doll. After we left she said, I forgot to ask for baby toms!

Ellie stuff

Ellie loves this little door knob Santa so much, that he hasn't been put away since last Christmas.

Buying Ellie clothes is pretty much one of my favorite hobbies. Little girls stuff is always so cute.
Her cute little deer hoodie is from The Children's Place.
& the pink polka dot kitty boots are from Target.

Now she always asks if it is raining so that she can wear her kitty boots.

Me: "Lying in naughty."
Ellie: "But tigers are good."

Hee Haws

 My farm animals.

Shoulder ride through the corn maze.

Daddy and Ellie on a slide.

 Crawling through the tunnel.

These pictures of me and Mika explain why we have like no pictures together.
Clearly, we have no "facebook" taking picture skills.
We mostly just look handicapped.

 Ellie kissing her baby pumpkin.

Daddy and Ellie with their pumpkins.

After we went to Dairy Queen and got blizzards.

Strawberry cheese cake for Ellie. (She wanted a pink one)
Pumpkin Pie for Mika.
Double fudge cookie dough for me.

Miss you baby

Today was a bit of a rough day.
(and probably always will be)

Sometimes you can't help but cry. Things happen and they really don't make any sense. Ever.
I feel bad that I have no real reminders of you. Sometimes I wish there were scars, almost as proof that you were really with us for a little,  while.

I was crying and came over and said, "Don't be sad, I will share with you." And then she brought me a few stuffed animals.

Despite the fact that life seriously sucks sometimes, I am really lucky to have the beautiful family that I have been blessed with.

We miss you baby and I can't wait to meet you someday.

More Ellie quotes

(I wink at Ellie)
Ellie: "Don't you ever do that again".

(Driving home from Grandma G's house)
Me: "We will have some hot chocolate and then we are going to go to bed."
Ellie: "I don't want to go to bed and you don't have to go to bed and daddy doesn't want to go to bed, so we don't have to go to bed."

(Getting ready to go to a family BBQ)
Ellie: "I need to bring my swimsuit to show Avery".
(Avery is like a year and a half and doesn't care about swimsuits && swimsuits are no longer usefully considering how freaking cold it's been.)

Me: "You don't make any sense."
Ellie: "I make good sense."
