Do you remember me?

I decided to take a bath and so I put a movie on for Ellie and hopped in. (of course I left the door cracked, so she could come in if she need anything.) So after about two minutes of being in there, she comes running in.

Ellie: Do you remember me?
Me: Of course I remember you.
Ellie: What's my name mommy?
Me: Your my little Ellie.
Ellie: No, I am sleeping beauty.

And then she runs away and out of the bathroom.

Shopping.

Ellie riding the turtle at the mall.

Ellie rocking sunglasses and her cute new romper.
I am so in love with little rompers for my EE. I just bought this way cute one from Old Navy the other day.

My cuteness new heels. I saw these and couldn't resist buying them.

Family walk.

We attempted to go on a little walk to the snow cone shack across the street. We marched clear over there to find out that they didn't open til twelve. (It eleven thirty.) So we decided to go over to sonic instead. We just got ice cream cones and of course, Ellie loved it.

How can you not love a man that carries a duck in his back pocket?

Fathers day.

I am so grateful that I have such amazing dads in mine and Ellie's life.

I am so glad that I have the amazing boyfriend that I do. I love how much he does for both me and Ellie. Even though he is not Ellie's biological father, I still consider him to be her dad. He is so great with her and he really loves her.    And Ellie is crazy about him too; she always pretends to talk to him on the phone and asks where he is, whenever he is not around. Mika is such a great daddy and I really hope that one day he can be the father of more of my children. (ha. That sounds so cheesey.) I am so glad that Ellie has him to be her father.

I am also so happy that I have these two awesome grandpas. They are both so good with Ellie. I am grateful for all their love and support.

So happy father's day daddys.

Double piggy tails.

I decided that it was time to try something new with Ellie's hair. So I wrestled her down and attempted double piggy tails. They turned out pretty cute for the first attempt.

(Notice the little purse she is playing with. . . It was mine when I was little. She found it at my parent's house and has been packing it around ever since.)

Fishing trip.

Mika and I decided it would be fun to go fishing. So we packed up all the fishing business and went to the Spanish Fork reservoir. (great fishing spot, I know)

I can't even tell you how many times Ellie asked if we could catch her a pink fish.

We didn't end up catching anything, but it was still fun to attempt.

Shoe chest.

I told Mika that I wanted some cool shoe box/bin thing to put in the little corner by the front door; that way, I could just toss all the shoes in it, instead of having a huge pile in the corner.

And this is what I got:

Made completely by Mika.

(I know the pictures are horrible, they are off my phone. Sorry.)

Don't I have the best boyfriend ever?

Night at the carnival.

We took Ellie to the Springville, Art City Days carnival. It was pretty much the highlight of her life. I wasn't sure if Ellie was going to be big enough to even ride on any of the rides, but luckily she was and she loved it.

Mommy and Ellie on the merry-go-round.

While we were riding the merry-go-round, Ellie kept telling me that her horse was going so fast.

Ellie driving her own blue car. Every time she would pass, she would wave like crazy and yell hi.

She also had no patience for waiting in line for the rides. She would creep on past the other kids and hang onto the gates. A few times she even yelled at the carnival workers to open the gate.

After we used up all of our tickets, we bought some cotton candy. Ellie believes that it is called candy hair.

My two favorite parts of the carnival:

One: Watching Ellie's face and excitement with everything.
Two: Seeing old friends from high school and people I haven't seen in ages.
