Ellie's birthday interview

I decided it would be fun to interview Ellie on her birthday.
Hopefully I will remember to do it each year.

Ellie's 5th birthday interview:

What is your favorite color?
It's always going to be pink and purple

What is your favorite book?
Those little critter books

What is your favorite thing to do?
Reading, play with toys, play on the laptop and not do chores and stay up late watching movies

What is your favorite food?
For breakfast I like cereal. Lunches I like two foods, mac & cheese and noddles. Now for dinner I like meatballs and rice and french fries. For desserts I like cake and all the other desserts in the world.

Tell me about your family:
I love my mommy, which is you. And I love my daddy which is him at work. And I love the girl that is sleeping, who's name is Millie, actually let's call her cookie pie.

What are you going to be when you grow up?
Just a doctor and a vet and a supermodel and a mom and lots of good things. You will see when I grow up.

What do you love about your life?
Candy, Netflix, my family

Ellie quotes & doctor check ups.

Ellie has been calling everything sty-lash (her version of stylish). She was playing barbies and kept say stuff like "Your purse is so sty-lash." "You look so sty-lash.". So I asked her, "Do you know what sty-lash even means?" And she said, "Sty-lash is when your clothes look so beautiful."

Ellie didn't want to sleep in her own bed and she finally convinced me to let her sleep in Millie's room. We made her a little bed on the floor, right next to Millie's crib. So a little bit later, I had just gotten into bed, and I heard a little voice on the baby monitor say, "Millie, are you asleep?, you cutie pie." So funny.

Ellie: "Let's listen to a Christmas song."
Mika: "This is a Christmas song."
Ellie: "Well slow Christmas music is retarded."

Ellie: "Do you want to come to my house?" 
Me: "Well where do you live?" 
Ellie: "I just live in Target."

Ellie: "Millie is chewing on my blanket!" 

Mika Goodman: "It's okay, she just thinks it tastes good." (Ellie puts the blanket in her mouth) Ellie: "Wow, it tastes like panda bears!"

Ellie wanted Millie to play in her room with her. I told her to come and get me if Millie need anything. About five minutes later Ellie comes running into the room.

Ellie:  "Mom! Millie needs something!" 

Me: "What does she need?" 

Ellie: "She needs hair! . . . . Because she is bald!"

Ellie: "When I grow up I am going to be a mom."

Me: "That will be nice, how many kids are you going to have?"

Ellie: "Seven! So then I can be rich!"

I just took both girls to the doctor. Millie for her six month and Ellie for her four year check ups.

Millie is now 15.7 pounds & 25 inches long.

Ellie is 33 pounds & 39 inches tall.
